I've had a painting that I started years ago (15+) that I never finished. The painting was on a 36x48 canvas that's been sitting in my house. The subject matter of the first painting never excited me. I always told myself I would get to it and paint over it. Needless to say as the years went on I never did. That was until this year. I had bought a new easel for the sole purpose of painting larger. A month ago I pulled out that old 36x48 canvas and gesso'd over the old painting and started work on the new painting. What started out to just be a landscape painting turned into that, but also with a story. I hope you the viewer can look at it and create your own story of the world I created.
